Hello! I’m Sofia, a software engineer based in Porto, Portugal, building digital experiences for real people (not just pixels).

My journey into tech started by customizing my old Tumblr blog (yes, those good ol’ days). Today, I work at the intersection of engineering and UI/UX, with a current focus on product-driven iOS development, and I’m absolutely loving it.

I began my professional career as a frontend web engineer, but the mobile world 📞 called me 📞

Since then, I’ve worked with teams across major tech markets in the UK, Germany, and France, and I’ve been fully remote by the ocean since 2020. I thrive in collaborative environments and I’m often the person connecting people, keeping projects moving, and bringing positive energy to the team 🐬

When I’m not coding, you’ll probably find me on a yoga mat or sipping matcha — I’m my own barista. I also love traveling, concerts, TV shows, fashion, architecture, any form of art really! Also being outdoors and dogs, a lifelong obsession that started with 101 Dalmatians 🐶

Yoga is a big part of my life. It keeps me grounded, focused, and sane in a very tech-shaped world. I practice regularly and genuinely structure my days around it 🧘‍♀️✨
